92.5 % stands for the quality of the silver; it is the industry standard reputable companies use.
Anything higher than 92.5 % is prone to deformation and too soft for the kind of products we carry.

1.2 I found a company that sells nice Pewter Jewelry, and is cheaper than you are. - back to top
92.5 % Sterling Silver, like Gold and Platinum, is a precious metal, Pewter is a cheap alloy based on tin. We do not like pewter, and therefore do not carry products made from it.

No need to despair! Most of our rings, bracelets and necklaces can be custom made in any
size/length!

If your area is covered by Postal Services, we will ship there.

2.2 How much will Shipping and Handling cost? - back to top
Shipping costs depend on the weight and on which country you want the goods to be sent to;
Small and light items ship for as little as USD 3.45.

3. Delivery Time

3.1 Do you dispatch my order immediately upon receiving it? - back to top
The order will be dispatched asap after we have received your payment.
All items are however subject to availability.

3.2 Are all your items in stock? - back to top
99 % of our items are in stock.

3.3 How long will it take for my order to arrive? - back to top
Depending on where you live, our shipments usually arrive within 3 to 14 days.
(In December it can sometimes take up to 21 days.) Remember that no goods will be posted
until the full payment is received. Wholesale orders are sent by UPS or FedEx, which takes
between 1 and 3 days.

3.4 My order did not arrive yet !? - back to top

As stated above, most packages are delivered within 3 to 14 days from the day they are dis-
patched. It does every now and then happen, however, that customs decide to hold back a
package and inspect its contents. This does slow down the delivery process, but is unfortun-
ately beyond our control.

3.5 The order is late - will I get an instant refund? - back to top

As much as we would like to do this: we are running a business, and do rely on the postal
system to do their duty properly. Should a package not arrive within 21 to 30 days, we will have
it tracked (every single one of our shipments is sent either by registered mail or express ser-
vice and has to be signed for upon receipt) , and either replace the items or refund the money
once we have proof that something did go wrong.

4. Payment

Yes, since our partner for secure online payment, PayPal.com, accepts all major credit cards.

4.2 Why do you prefer PayPal.com payments? - back to top
Many people are understandably very reluctant to share their credit card information with 3rd parties.
We therefore believe it is in your interest to be able to deal with many companies all over the world, but only sharing your details with one big corporation that can concentrate on keeping it all secure.

4.3 How can I set up a PayPal account? - back to top
This is very easy. All instructions are given here: www.paypal.com - and it is *free*!
If you prefer not to open an account, you also have the option of making a one-off transaction to
pay for your SilverKnuckle purchase.

4.4 What if I don't have a credit card? - back to top
You can still pay us by transfering money into our bank account, but this usually takes between three to ten working days, and your bank will probably charge you high fees.
PayPal also offers that you pay the amount due by transfer to their bank account.

4.5 I have already paid, but changed my mind and would like to get a refund. - back to top
We are a non-corporate, independent company and cannot afford to waste time (= cash) for sending refunds. We therefore charge a fee of USD 16.00 for refunds, that are not due to a mistake
that we made, to cover the work it involves.
This service is exclusive to verified PayPal members. If you are not a verified PayPal member, the money will not be refunded until after your verification process is completed.

4.6 Do you accept personal cheques and/or international money orders? - back to top
Turning personal cheques and money orders into physical cash is rather time-consuming. We therefore do not accept those methods of payment for orders below Euro 200 / USD 230 (excluding shipping). All additional fees must be covered by the buyer, and the items will not be dispatched until the full payment is received.

5. Returns Policy

5.1 I do not like the item I received, can I return it and get a refund or exchange it for another item?

Unfortunately, we cannot and do not take back any item for the sole reason that you do not like it.

5.2 The item I received was damaged - oh my God! What can I do? - back to top
All our items have to pass our quality control and are properly packaged before being dispat ched. All our goods are shipped by Registered Mail or EMS and have to be signed for upon receipt - so check them while the postman / delivery person is still present. Should your item for some reason be damaged, point this out to the postman / delivery person and ask for a *written* confirmation of the damage upon arrival - the more detailed the confirmation, the better . Damage / replacement claims cannot be accepted unless you have written proof of the damage, since we cannot make any insurance/compensation claims ourselves if we cannot present an official written confirmation.
